All are welcome to join with parishioners from around the diocese as we open the Jubilee Year of Hope on Sunday, December 29th at 4:00 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of St. Paul, Chatham and High Streets. At 3:30 p.m., a candlelight procession will precede the Mass beginning at St. John Church, 40 Temple Street. Shuttles will be available from the Cathedral parking lot to St. John. Our prayers will be joined with those in every Cathedral around the world as the Jubilee Year begins.

Fr. Patrick will be on vacation January 6th – February 19th. During this time, Fr. Matthias Lugemwa will be covering weekday and Sunday Masses and staying at the Rectory. Please pray for Fr. Patrick to have a safe and restful vacation and welcome and pray for Fr. Matthias.

Our parish is collecting children’s hats, gloves, mittens and socks from November 24th to December 8th. You may leave your donated items in the box located at the front of the church. These will be distributed to Templeton Schools and to any other children in need.

Saturday, December 7th, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday, December 8th, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the American Legion Hall, 3 Central St., Baldwinville. Purchase wonderful hand-crafted items, home-made baked goods, fresh wreaths and other decorations. Take a chance on theme basket raffle (over 40 baskets); Chinese auction. 50/50 raffle and more. Enjoy lunch or rest with a cup of coffee and a donut or pastry! Bring the kids to say hello to Santa!

A prayer group now meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the church hall for the purpose of praying for our Holy Cross Parish, Fr. Patrick, Deacon Dennis, our parishioners and our Templeton Community. Every parishioner is urged to consider joining in this prayer ministry. Adults and young adults 13 years and older accompanied by a parent/adult are welcomed to participate. A candle burns continuously in the sanctuary to remind us of the presence of Jesus Christ in the Tabernacle. During the month of July, we are asked to make a donation to defray the cost of the candles used throughout the year.

Thanks to all our parishioners who made a gift to the 2024 Partners in Charity Appeal, allowing us to reach our goal. As of 8/7/2024, we have received $20,555 or 109% of our $18,800 goal. Thank you!
